Rev. Timothy S. Kallaher was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1946. He was ordained by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in 1972. He earned a Masters Degree in Theology from the Athenaeum and a Masters Degree in Latin from Xavier University. His first assignment was as temporary chaplain at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Ohio. He taught at Elder High School for five years and was an associate at Our Lady of Victory in Delhi. He taught for five years in the college seminary. In 1982 he became full-time associate at St. Albert the Great in Kettering, Ohio. He became pastor of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception in Dayton, Ohio in 1986. In 1998 he was appointed pastor of St. John's. | |

Mr. Richard
Harrmann grew up close by, attending St. Ignatius for eight years and
graduating from La Salle High School in 1968. He attended the University of
Cincinnati, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education in
1972. He earned his Masters degree in Administration from Xavier University
in 1977. He taught, coached and served as a school administrator for 31
years in four public schools throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. Prior
to coming to St. John' he was the principal of St. Helen Catholic School in
the Dayton area. Although he grew up on the West Side and realizes it is the "Best Side", he currently lives on the East Side with Patty, his wife of thirty-four years. They have been blessed with two children, Amy who is married to her wonderful husband, Brad, and Joe, who will be graduated from the University of Dayton in December. |

Andrea Argus started at St. John's during the 1994-1995 school year. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Purdue University. She and her husband Don, have a daughter and son that both attend Butler University in Indianapolis. When she's not working, Andrea likes to scrapbook, knit, read, garden, do crossword puzzles and play games. | |

Nora Mollmann has been working at St. John's since 1999. She was born in Toledo, Ohio and received a Bachelor of Science of Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. She has three children and has been married to her husband Dan for over twenty years. Her children all graduated from St. John's. When she is not working, she likes to read, golf, go for long walks and spend time in Tennessee. | |
| Donna Jacob is the Instructional Specialist at St. John's Schoool. Her bachelor's degree is from Eastern Kentucky University, Masters from Xavier University in Early Childhood Education, Montessori and course work from University of Cincinnati, Miami University, Mount St. Joseph, Northern Kentucky University, and University of Hawaii and Mexico leading to the following certifications: K-12 Reading Specialist, Reading Administration, Gifted Education, Guidance & Counseling, and Elementary Education K-8. | ||

Mrs. Lynn Chaifetz is beginning her eighth year at St. John's and is very happy to be here. She has two grown daughters and one grandchild. She received her bachelor degree in Psychology at Washington University and her master's in speech therapy at the University of Cincinnati. She has been a speech and language pathologist in a variety of settings for thirty years. When she is not working she likes to be with her family, read, knit, watch old movies, and read. | |

This is Miss Stacie Packard's first year as our school psychologist. She grew up on the west side of Cleveland and graduated from the College of Wooster where she played soccer and received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies. After that, she coached collegiate soccer and then went to graduate school where she recently completed her Specialist in Education Degree at Miami University. Her favorite things to do when she is not racing around the building are visiting with her family and friends, running, playing soccer, and spending time outside--preferably at the beach. |

Mrs. Hummel is beginning her ninth year as a nurse in the school setting, her first at St. Johns. Previously she was the nurse at Colerain Elementary. Mrs. Hummel has many years of hospital nursing behind her as well. She received her Nursing degree from the University of Cincinnati. She has three wonderful children- Brandon, who is married to Kristi, Jeremy, who is engaged to Michelle, and Cara who is a senior in high school. Mrs. Hummel enjoys being with her family, reading, gardening, and jazzercise. |

Beth Kemble is the Intervention Specialist at St. John's. She grew up on the West side, attended Mercy High School and received her Elementary and Special Ed degrees from the University of Dayton. She received her Master’s in Special Education from U.C. Beth taught at Anderson High School for years then stayed home for five years with her children. She has four girls from ages three to twelve. She most recently taught at St. Ignatius where she is a parishioner. Beth is involved with activities at St. I's and in her "spare" time likes to coach soccer, read, and shop. |

Mrs. Jenny Kahny graduated from McAuley High School and earned a Bachelor of Education degree from Miami University. She previously taught first grade and seventh grade at St. John's and has spent the past two years substitute teaching preschool. She is excited to be back at St. John the Baptist School. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing indoor soccer, and spending time with her husband, Neil , and their four children. | |

Mrs. Vicki Borgman is in her fourteenth year teaching Kindergarten at St. John School. She has taught in Archdiocesan schools for over twenty years. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She has completed graduate work in Administration and Early Childhood Education at U.C. and Wright State University. Vicki and her husband, Gerry, are active parishioners at St. John's. Her children, Matthew and Meghan, are St. John alumni. | |

Mrs. Ann Fischer graduated from Xavier University. She previously taught the first kindergarten program at St. John's. She took time off to start a family. She is excited to be back at St. John's. She is a member of Sacred Heart with her husband Chris and their three children, Nick, Lindsay and Alyssa. Her favorite things to do are to spend time with her family and go boating. | |

Mrs. Hayes has been teaching Kindergarten for seventeen years. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati. She is a member of St. John's Parish with her husband Mike and they have three children Aaron, Daniel and Bethany. Her favorite things to do are to spend time with her family and sing. | |

Mrs. Lori Schrader has been teaching first grade for seven years, six of them at St. Johns. She attended the University of Cincinnati where she earned three degrees: a BA in Communications, a BS in Elementary Education, & a MEd in Elementary Education. GO BEARCATS! She attended Catholic schools for her elementary and high school education. She loves teaching at St. John's, especially reading and writing to her first graders. Some of Mrs. Schrader's favorite things to do are spending time with her husband Dave and playing with her dog Princess. She loves taking Princess to the dog park. She also enjoys writing, working word and number puzzles, shopping, and reading books. Her favorite book is The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. She reads it every year to her first graders! | |

This is Mrs. Sellers' eighth year teaching and fifth year at St. John. She grew up on the "West Side", and attended St. Martin of Tours Elementary School and Mother of Mercy High School. Mrs. Sellers graduated from the University of Dayton with her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, in 1999. In her spare time she enjoys playing sports, playing cards, cross-stitching, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. | |

This will be Mr. Anderson’s fourth year of teaching and first year at St. John's. He received his degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Dayton in 2004 and taught second grade at St. Peter in Huber Heights for the last three years. He has been married to his wife, Shannon, for two years. He enjoys working out, watching U of M football, camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends. |

Norma Rapien was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education Degree from Edgecliff College, which is now part of Xavier University. She has been teaching second grade for twenty-three years, nineteen of those years have been at St. John's. She currently resides in Green Township with her husband Gary, and her three children. Teaching is her passion, and it is how she spends most of her time! Other activities she enjoys include gardening, reading, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. | |

Miss Erin Matson, a third grade teacher, is in her fifth year of teaching. She received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Hanover College. She is currently working on getting her Masters in Reading Education at Xavier University. She also coaches cross country and track at McAuley High School. Miss Matson enjoys reading, running, and spending time with family and friends. | |

Mrs. Pamela Zipperer is in her tenth year of teaching at St. John the Baptist. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Education. Mrs. Zipperer has taught in the Akron Public School District, Summit County School District and the Norwood City School District prior to coming to St. Johns. She is married to John and has three sons: Zachary, a student at St. Xavier High School and a graduate of St. John’s, Christian, currently attending St. John's and Michael. | |

Elaine Shotwell received her undergraduate degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati. She obtained her master's degree with a certificate in Reading from Xavier University. She is in her 33rd year of teaching all at St. John's School. When she has time to relax, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, read, walk, and play Scrabble on the computer. | |

Alison Schwalbach is a lifelong resident of Ft. Thomas, KY where she currently resides with her husband, Brian, and son, Carson. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Kentucky. Alison obtained her degree in Elementary Education in 2000 from Xavier University. Last December, she completed her Masters in Education. This is her eighth year of teaching and the seventh year at St. John the Baptist School. In her free time, Alison enjoys taking Carson on walks, being outdoors, and reading a good book while drinking a cup of Starbucks coffee! She also enjoys watching athletic events with family and friends, especially UK basketball! | |

Mrs. Shannon Peters, who teaches fifth grade, is currently in her seventeenth year of teaching and sixth year at St. John the Baptist. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Education at Thomas More College and her Master of Arts in Education from Northern Kentucky University. She is married to Dan and has two children. She has always taught at Catholic schools, which demonstrates her commitment to Catholic education. Her own children attend St. John which shows her commitment and confidence in our school. | |

Mrs. Brigid Schneider is in her tenth year of teaching fifth grade at St. Johns. She received her degree in Elementary Education from The University of Cincinnati. Mrs. Schneider and her husband Carl have been married for 24 years. The have four children, Carl, Logan, Garrett and Brianna. Mrs. Schneider is a resident of White Oak and a member of St. James Parish. For relaxation, Mrs. Schneider likes to read, write, go to auctions and spend time with her family. | |

Mary Lou Smith is currently in her 38th year in education. All but three of these have been in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati as an elementary teacher or principal. Mary Lou lived in Japan from 1966-1970 where she taught fifth grade CCD and English classes at Tamagawa University in the Tokyo area. She has two sons and two stepchildren along with ten grandchildren. Her husband, Gene, passed away on August 7,2002. She has a B.S. in Education and a Masters in School Administration from XU. She resides in Monfort Heights and elongs to St. I.'s parish. She considers it an honor to be part of the St. John School Family. |

Mrs. Ceil Ante has been teaching at St. John's for 21 years. She attended St. John's grade school and McAuley High School. She received her BA in elementary education from the College of Mount St. Joseph. In her spare time she enjoys reading, flower gardening, and walking in the parks. She especially enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband, children and her four precious grandchildren. | |

Jessica was born and raised in Cincinnati and attended The Summit Country Day School from pre-school through twelfth grade. She graduated from the University of Dayton in May 2005 with a BS in Middle Childhood Education (grades 4-9) concentrations in Mathematics and English/Language Arts. She enjoys running, playing and watching sports and spending time with family and friends. This is her third year at St. John's. | |

This is Adam Sayer's first year at St. John's. A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, he graduated from the College of Mount Saint Joseph with a degree in Middle Childhood Education. Mr. Sayer also coaches football at Purcell Marian and wrestling at Lakota East. In his free time, he loves working out, watching sports, and relaxing with friends and family. |

Mrs. Chris Smith is in her twentieth year of teaching, and her thirteenth year of teaching science to St. John's junior high students. She graduated from McAuley High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Xavier University. Mrs. Smith earned her Masters Degree in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. In her free time, she enjoys reading, boating, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. |

Mrs. Sharon Green, who currently teaches eighth grade, has been teaching for twenty-five years with the last twenty-one years at St. John's. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, her home state. She went on to get her Masters of Education from Xavier University. She and her husband, Mike, have two boys - Chris, a student at Wittenberg University and Jeff, a student at La Salle High School. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, attending her boys sporting events and spending time with family and friends. | |

Ms. Jane Schaefer is beginning her second year at St. John's as the religion teacher for 6th - 8th grade and coordinator of religious education for school. She comes from Wisconsin where she recently received her bachelor degree in Theology from Silver Lake College. She has worked for more than ten years as a coordinator of religious education. When she is not working she enjoys golfing, going for walks, and spiritual reading. | |

Kathy Winters, a native Hoosier, received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physical Education from Indiana University. She is starting her twenty-second year here at St. John's, and has 5 years' experience in other systems. She is permanently certified in Indiana (Health and P.E) and Ohio (P.E) for grades K-12. Ms. Winters enjoys gardening, swimming, dancing, walking, and observing nature. | |

Mrs. Gale LaWarre is beginning her thirty-first year as the St. John's School Librarian. All four of her children attended and graduated from St. John's. She thoroughly enjoys the time she spends each day with the children at St. John's. In her spare time she loves reading, gardening, and walking. | |

Maryann Whitaker has been teaching math for over 35 years and this is her eighth year at St. John's working with the Math Lab. She is a graduate of Edgecliff College with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and she has taken graduate classes at Xavier University and the University of Dayton. Her activities include real estate, gardening, and especially enjoying the time she gets to spend with her 2 1/2 year old great-granddaughter, Brianna. | |

Mrs. Robbins has been teaching computer skills at St. John's since 1994. She received her training for Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, FrontPage, and Publisher), NT Networking, Flash, Pinnacle Studio Plus, Internet, Digital Photography and Basic Computer Repairs through Comp USA computer training, Diamond Oaks, SOITA, and HCCA. This is Michael Winland's third year at St. John's. Mr. Winland was born and raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia and earned his B.A. from Marshall University. After attending graduate school at Cleveland State University he taught for the Diocese of Columbus, Columbus Public Schools and Westerville City Schools. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Xavier University. His hobbies include music, stamp collecting, and watching sports--especially his beloved Reds. 1984 Carrie Smith completed her bachelor of fine arts at NKU. She obtained
her teaching certificate more recently in 2002 at UC and will finalize her
Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College in several years.
Married with four children, Mrs. "Art" Smith looks for small adventures in
everyday life. She likes to read mysteries, make camp fires, hike and bike,
create various kinds of fiber art works, and chat with her four children and
husband, especially while at Frisch's eating her favorite: chili and
spaghetti with a dinner roll. |

Mrs. MaryAnn Wolf attended Our Lady of Angels High School and the University of Cincinnati where she received an Associate Degree in Science. She is married to Tom and has two children, Bryan and Jonathan, who are graduates of St. John's. Currently Mrs. Wolf is working in the preschool classroom as an aide. In her spare time she loves to garden, walk her dog, Jasper, and spend time with family and friends. | |

Cathy Dreyer grew up in Huber Heights, Ohio. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.S. in Nursing. She was commissioned an officer in the The United States Army and was stationed in Berlin, Germany with she witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall. She is married to Phil and has three children: Amanda, Tyler and Sarah who attend St. John's. In her free time, she enjoys reading, logic puzzles, attending her children's athletic events and spending time with family and friends. |

This is Mr. Hasselbeck's first year as Maintenance Supervisor. He recently graduated from Miami University. He attended grade school here at St. John's and high school at La Salle. With the exception of one year, he has worked in the maintenance department every summer since he graduated from St. John' s. In his spare time he likes to work on cars and trucks, cut grass and fix things that are in need of repair. |

Mr. Ron Fehr has been married Joan for twenty-seven years. He has one son, Shaun who has given him two wonderful grandchildren. This is Ron's thirteenth year at St. John's. | |

Mrs. Claire Knipper is in her fourteenth year at St. John's cafeteria (nine years as assistant manager). She attended St. John's, then graduated from Northwest High School. Mrs. Lori Bollin grew up in St. John's parish. She graduated from Xavier University with a BSBA in Marketing. This is her fifth year working in the cafeteria. She and her husband Tim, have 3 girls. Lindsey, is a junior at McAuley High School and is also a graduate of St. John's school. Allie, is a 8th grader at St. John's and Anna, is a 4th grader at St. John's. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, playing golf, reading, attending her girls sporting events and going out with family and friends. |
