Eighth Grade Graduation Dress Code

Since we have received several questions about dress code, the following is repeat of the dress code that you received and signed in August:

Boys should wear dress slacks, sport jackets or vests, dress shirts, ties, dress shoes, and dark socks.  Girls are to wear dresses, skirts or nice slacks with blouses and dress shoes. No mini skirts or short dresses.  Girl’s dresses may not be strapless and straps must be more than 1” wide. Girls may not wear spaghetti straps, backless dresses, or halter tops at all, even if they wear a jacket or shawl.  Girls may not have bare shoulders during the graduation ceremony or in the group photo.  Please have your daughter wear a sweater, shawl, jacket, etc.  Both boys and girls should wear clothing that is appropriate for a Catholic graduation ceremony that centers on the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
